Principal’s Message – College of Nursing

St. George College of Nursing Sciences has emerged as a premier institution committed to providing quality nursing education. Over the years, the college has crossed many milestones, achieved academic excellence, and carved a distinctive niche in the nursing profession and academic arena.

Our mission is to prepare and develop competent human capital with an optimal blend of personal and professional skills. Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, service, and leadership forms the foundation of all our academic programmes.

The college offers excellent physical infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, a modern library, spacious classrooms, administrative offices, and audio-visual aid rooms. Students have access to a vast collection of reference books, national and international journals across various nursing specialities.

Practical exposure is provided through training in multi-specialty hospitals such as Seventh Day Adventist Hospital, Hosmat Hospital, Manipal Hospital, Spandana Psychiatric Hospital, BOSH Hospital, and Cloud 9 Hospital. Students are also exposed to super-specialty care at renowned institutions like HCG Hospital.

In addition to our dedicated teaching faculty, students are mentored by highly qualified nursing professors and medical specialists. Hostel facilities with modern amenities, along with opportunities for extracurricular and sports activities, ensure holistic development in a congenial learning environment.
